All too often the hard work and dedication of wildlife recorders is not publicly recognised. To help put this right the annual NBN Awards for Wildlife Recording celebrate the individuals and groups of people that are making outstanding contributions to wildlife recording and improving our understanding of the natural world in the UK.
So, help the NBN find this year's winners and nominate someone you know for one of our Awards.
There are five categories:
NBN Award for Wildlife Recording - Terrestrial (open to individuals 21 years +)
NBN Award for Wildlife Recording - Marine (open to individuals 21 years +)
NBN Group Award (no age restrictions)
NBN Young Person’s Award (open to individuals aged 11-20)
NBN Newcomer Award (open to individuals 21 years +)
Nominating someone is simple, just fill in the short online form explaining how your nominee is making an exceptional contribution to wildlife recording in the UK and that's it. You can even nominate yourself!
Nominations close on 26 July, so please don’t leave it too late.
