Why register with Cofnod?

You will need to register with Cofnod if you wish to enter species records onto our Online Recording System (ORS). Additionally, if you make regular data enquiries with us, registering your details will speed up the enquiry process.

Registering with Cofnod allows you access to a range of useful membership benefits:

• Enter species records - Register once with Cofnod and you'll be able to enter species records whenever you wish. You'll be able see your records build over time, map them and export them if you wish. Your records will be automatically assigned to a local expert (where one exists) for checking, before forming part of our growing database of species records.
• Access our utilities - Get access to a range of useful tools including a searchable species dictionary and KML converter, which converts your spreadsheet data to Google Earth format.
• Keep in touch - By registering with us we'll keep you informed of local events and other useful information through our regular e-bulletin.
