Conwy CBC are looking to recruit a Local Nature Partnership Co-ordinator for three days per week until March 2022. The main purpose of the role will be to engage communities, businesses, public bodies and others in local activity that can help enable a long-term, sustainable difference to nature recovery. As we have one Local Nature Partnership across north east Wales, the role will also involve working closely with colleagues from the other authorities.
Will be recruiting through an employment agency, so prospective candidates should contact Barbara Owsianka or Tom Gravett asap for details of how to apply.
This year's Cofnod Conference was attended by over 90 people. A big thank you to all those who attended and all those who gave their talks, which are now available to download from here.

Wales’ wildlife continues to decline according to the State of Nature 2019 report, with the latest findings showing that one in six species in Wales are at risk of extinction. Since rigorous scientific monitoring began in the 1970s, there’s been a 13% decline in average abundance across wildlife studied across the UK.

Dyma arlwy Llên Natur am fis Hydref. Mae’n rhyfedd sut mae pob tymor - pob mis i raddau - yn cael ei nodweddu gan y pethau sydd wedi mynd â’ch sylw chi. Gwyfynod mewnfudol sy’n sefyll allan y mis hwn, ac yn gynyddol, eu hepil a fagwyd yma yn groes i’r disgwyl yn sgil y tywydd poeth iawn. A son am dywydd poeth, mae gwleidyddiaeth Newid Hinsawdd hefyd yn poethi. Rydyn ni’n ceisio cadw hwnnw allan o’r Bwletin ond does dim rhaid sgrolio’n bell yn Cymuned Llên Natur i deimlo’r gwres!
