Whilst meadows might be difficult to think about at the moment - and even more difficult to reach - the Magnificent Meadows team want to share some good news about two exciting areas of work; creating community meadows and restoring over 30 meadows across Wales with partners the National Trust.
Join the BSBI's Wildflower Hunt to help learn more about the wild plants that inhabit our gardens and local environment.
Welcome to Cofnod’s second Newsletter, packed with plenty of recording suggestions. With Covid-19 restrictions in place most 2020 events have been cancelled or rescheduled, with recording essential restricted to your home and local walks. However, there’s still loads of garden species to look out for!
As many of us are now working from home for the foreseeable future it’s a golden opportunity to record species you see on your lunch break in your garden or on your local walk. All four Welsh LERCs have joined together to bring you Nature Neighbours.
We hope you’ll all join in the fun and pop out to see what’s in your local patch, sharing your sightings via Twitter and/or Facebook using the tag #NatureNeighbours
You can also send your records directly to your LERC (using the ORS in the case of Cofnod) or use the LERC Wales recording App on your Smartphone.
